Where Did the Time Go?

Yes, I am still breathing! I cannot believe that I've gone this long between posts. If you've been wondering where I've been, it's been one of two places pretty much: at the hospital or in bed. Yes, NMO reared it's ugly head again and I had to have a 3 day IV steroid treatment at the beginning of the month. The only problem with that is that I always get severe side effects. They were so bad this time, they landed me in the hospital. I have spent 10 days this month at a hospital. I won't go into all the details, but suffice it to say I've been really, really sick.

Meanwhile, when I could manage it, I've been working like a demon on a *secret project* which I will be sharing with you very soon. It's been a tough go because my hands are not working very well at all (this is part of the reason I had to have the steroids) and so I've been struggling along. I could be sitting around feeling sorry for myself, but I'm not. The only way to get through it is it just square your shoulders and keep moving forward. It is what it is and there are alot of people way worse off than me-perspective is everything.

I've also been busy writing articles here and there, interviewing potential future Health Mentors and gearing up to do VIP Transportation Dispatch for the 102nd Grey Cup. Autumn is going to be busy!

I'll be back soon with art to share. Promise!

oh I am sorry to hear that you were so unwell that you were admitted to the hospital. You are such a fighter, the rest of us would have pulled the covers over our heads. If there was anything that I could do for you, act as your hands, I would like to help. Take care. bettyann
