HA! I am finished my very first punch needle piece!! I worked on it while watching TV and it went pretty fast. I really like being able to have something to do while watching so it doesn't seem such a waste of time. Most of the shows I watch, I tape so I can watch them when I feel like it. Some shows, I just listen-they don't require alot of attention so this is the perfect thing for me to be doing!!

Now I am ready to move on to the pattern I bought with the Shaker house, bird, stars and alphabet sampler around the outside.

I imagine I will turn this into a little pouch or something. I have to think on it and decide, but I am pleased with how it came out. It was definately worth taking the class and Annemarie is a great teacher!
*happy smile*

Love this! Was it very hard to do??? I just bought a book and the needles but haven't tried it yet...Learning from a book is sometimes difficult...seeing it done is better...one of these days I'll get brave!

I love how that came out! I just bought some stuff the other day to do the punch needle thing, but haven't even had time to get it out yet.

I love your punch needle work! I also bought all the stuff and haven't tried it yet. Would you bring your pieces to artFiberfest and give a Demo? I'm teaching the rug hooking classs and this definitely reminds me of mini-rug hooking. Just found your blog today..can't wait to see your new work!
