Okay, I lied-I have one more thing to post before lunch for you local folks. (Vancouver & surrounding areas.)The VLGC is presenting "Sweet Sixteen", celebrating the choir's sixteenth season and you are invited!
The concert takes place on Saturday June 3, at 8 p.m., at Central Presbyterian Church, 1155 Thurlow St. in Vancouver's Davie Village. [map to the concert location]
Tickets are available from choir members, at Little Sister's Bookstore on Davie Street, at Urban Empire on Commercial Drive, and at the door. Tickets are $15, $10 for students and seniors.
This will be the third time I have attended the concert in support of dear friends Nikki (who is the choir director), Denise, Kelly & Alyx (very fine singers!) Everyone is welcome. You will laugh, you will cry, you will grow as a person and I promise you you will be entertained! Hope to see you there!

Oh how I wish I could see this! I was never much into choirs, then my daughter's music teacher in school told me to have her try out for the Houston Children's Chorus...so I did, and she made it! (That year they were only admitting 20 kids from the whole entire Houston Metropolitan area!) It was then that I discovered how wonderful choirs can be!
