Eyecandy and Art Calls!

If you are in need of a dose of eyecandy, my friend Gail has posted some of the submission to the Shadows and Evil in Fairytales show that will be taking place this summer in Trail, BC, Canada on her blog. Click here to peek.


The deadline is not till August 25th, so there's still time to submit art if you would like to. Everyone is welcome! Here's the info:

You are invited to participate in the Kootenay Region's FIRST International Mail Art Exhibit:

Shadow & Evil in Fairytales.

Artist: Gail D. Whitter, Coordinator.

All visual/verbal forms of Correspondence Mail-Art welcome, including: letters; concrete/visual poetry; postcards; artwork; add & pass; collage; recycled mail art; photographs; music; letters; project invitations; rubberstamps; artist stamps & Artist Trading Cards. Create in any media.Size: A4 (8.5 inches x 11 inches or smaller)Works may be 2-D or 3-DInclude your name & email addressNo jury. No entry fee. No returns. Documentation to all participants after the Exhibit. Deadline: August 25th, 2006. Exhibit will be rotated in various venues in Trail, B.C.

*Artist Trading Card artists: Original cards only please. If you wish to have us trade for you at the close of the exhibit, you MUST send an SASE (or IRC) of sufficient return postage. Send entries in a plastic 9-up sheet with name & contact information on the back of each card.
